Sean Hutzell is a passionate and active photographer and has been for 8 years now. Hutzell began as an event and band photographer, including photography of the Blue Moon Big Band’s 70 VJ Day Celebration at the Spanish Ballroom in Glen Echo Park. Working with photographers in Baltimore, he completed portraiture assignments for independent schools in Maryland, including McDonogh and Mount Saint Joseph.
When given the opportunity, he traveled to Native American Reservations in the American Southwest; Tanzania; Scotland; and Seoul, South Korea. This opportunity allowed him to capture the nature and culture surrounding him. These photographs have been displayed previously displayed by Washington College.
Hutzell has now delved into abstracted photography, continuing to define his current work and style. His photographs are currently in private collections throughout Maryland and Delaware.
