For Funders

The Touchstones Discussion Project is a registered 501 (c) 3 not-for-profit organization with Federal Tax ID 522009938. Touchstones operates as a social-venture non-profit. As such, we develop and sell proprietary goods and services and apply the earned income to ensure our educational programming and materials are accessible to those who live in under-served communities in the United States and abroad.

In addition, Touchstones works with select partners so that our programs reach even more people in need. Through these partners and their established educational and social justice programming, Touchstones reaches thousands of marginalized children and adults.

Touchstones also relies on charitable support to provide and expand community programs serving those in greatest need. Philanthropic contributions go entirely to Touchstones programming, while administrative overhead is covered by earned income.

Each year, Touchstones provides tens of thousands of dollars in free books and programming that empower thousands of children and adults through collaborative discussion. You can learn more about Touchstones Community Programs on our website. You are also invited to view a copy of Touchstones’ latest Annual Report to see how Touchstones makes an immediate difference in local, national, and global communities.
