Session 1: July 12-16
Touchpebbles Summer Enrichment
Students will learn from their peers and express their own ideas through this fun, lively, and educational program. They will connect with each other in individual and group activities. Students will explore fascinating topics including fables from across the world, exciting scientific discoveries and more!
Program is for students entering 2nd-5th grades and runs 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM Monday to Friday.
Session 2: July 19-23
Touchstones Summer Enrichment
In this program, students will explore and develop their own ideas while engaging in fun and lively activities with one another. Students will nurture their curiosity together as they engage with fascinating topics ranging from exciting scientific discoveries to interesting stories and more!
Program is for students entering 6th-8th gradesand runs 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM Monday to Friday.
Session 3a: July 26-30
Art and Writing
Students will explore new ideas and perspectives through imaginative storytelling, visual art, and poetry. Students will practice their writing and artistic skills through dynamic activities and discussions. Ideal for students interested in reading, creative writing, and art at any skill level. Together students will have fun and express themselves through many creative forms!
Program is for students entering 6th-8th grades and runs 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM Monday to Friday.
Session 3b: July 26-30
Where’d They Get that Idea? A Summer Math Program
Students will explore new and creative approaches to problems and ideas in math. Students will have fun and strengthen leadership and reasoning abilities through exciting problem-solving, riddles, and logic puzzles. Great for students who enjoy math or puzzle games at any skill level!
Program is for students entering 6th-8th grades and runs 11:05 AM to 12:00 PM Monday to Friday.

Artists in the Making!
Birds, Plants and Bugs
Hone your skills of observation to see what’s right under your nose! We will let creativity flow and get “in the zone” to create drawings and mixed media paintings of familiar and new creatures and plants in the neighborhood. Indoor studies and outdoor plein aire painting are possibilities, so dress according to the weather. No experience necessary!

Appropriate for children ages 8-11. Limited to 10 students.

There are four scholarship seats available each week for students who want to participate in this program at no cost. Please call the Touchstones Discussion Project offices for availability and to register.
About the teacher: Susan Mayberry is a resident artist in Queenstown who works in oils, acrylics, and multi-media. Her work includes custom paintings and decorative arts, as well as print-making, mosaics, canvas rugs, and handmade ornaments.
